2:00 p.m. Experience behind-the-scenes learning as Klezmer Conservatory of Music Founder/Director Hankus Netsky and composer/performer Eden MacAdam-Somer lead a master class workshop in ‘oral tradition’ with Shepherd School students.

Over the course of the 2022-2023 season, you will have an opportunity to experience the vast range of Jewish music, from sacred to secular and historical to contemporary. We are honored to welcome some of the best Jewish musicians from around the country, to highlight the talent and spirit within our own Emanu El community, and to begin a new partnership with The Shepherd School of Music. Throughout inspiring musical performances and enhanced worship services, we will explore the depths and diversity of what Jewish music can be.
