Tobi comes to us from Chicago by way of St. Paul, Minnesota. She currently lives in Lake Jackson and enjoys being closer to the beach than to Canada. Tobi studied Business at both Argosy University and Liberty University. She has a strong background in administration and customer service and has served as general manager of some amazing retail and experience-driven businesses: from trampoline parks to escape rooms!
Tobi grew up in a martial arts-centered home. Her father, Wayne, is an 8th degree Grand Master in Tae Kwon Do and still teaches at 74 years old! She received her black belt at 13 and has coached and mentored students of all ages and abilities. In her spare time, she rescues and rehabs reptiles and invertebrates, and enjoys the parks and outdoor spaces of Houston and Brazoria County.
A first-generation American of German-Jewish descent (her mother immigrated in 1949) and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors in East Berlin, Tobi looks forward to finding a sense of community and family at Congregation Emanu El. Please be sure to introduce yourself the next time you see her!
