Jessie has always found solace in the Jewish community, so she is excited to join the Emanu El team and surround herself with great people! Originally from Austin, TX, she moved to Houston in 2018, one year after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ. Jessie has knowledgeable administrative experience that supports Rabbi Fixler and Anna Shabtay. She takes pride in her involvement in the Jewish community, from interning at Hillel at ASU in college, to planning events for Jewish young adults as a Moishe House Houston resident. She was also an avid camp goer, attending URJ Greene Family Camp for 10 years as a camper and two years on staff. In her free time, Jessie enjoys working out, trying new restaurants in Chinatown, going to see the Rockets and Astros with her boyfriend, Daniel, and hanging out with their golden retriever, Wilson.
