Shofar Squad

Brush up on your skills and join our High Holy Day Shofar Squad with Rabbi Fixler and Jeff Silk annual shofar class. It will blow you away! This program is open to people of all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you own a shofar, please bring it with you. A limited number of shofars will be available to borrow, and the New Traditions gift shop has a nice selection for purchase. Class participants will be invited to blow shofar as a special part of our High Holy Days services on Rosh HaShanah (Erev) and Yom Kippur (N’ilah). Join us for the Helfman opening lunch at 11:30 a.m., the class will begin at noon.
