The third king of Israel is renowned in Jewish tradition for his intellectual acumen, his economic accomplishments, and his literary legacy – not to mention his 700 wives! But Solomon was also a complex figure whose biography was marked by flaws and struggles. By exploring some of the many texts written about him (and by him), learners will gain insights into the lessons his story offers for our Jewish lives today.
