Heritage Shabbat followed by Special Oneg Honoring our Legacy Society

Join us for Heritage Shabbat featuring Cantor Simmons, Emanu El’s professional octet and our organist, Ann Frohbieter. We will share the treasured music of our heritage with classical settings that convey the majestic tranquility and joy of Shabbat.

Continue celebrating Shabbat with us following Heritage Shabbat for a special oneg to honor over 65 members of the Congregation Emanu El Legacy Society. These congregants and supporters have made provisions to leave an after-lifetime gift to Congregation Emanu El. This oneg is sponsored by the Houston Jewish Community Foundation as part of the partnership between Emanu El and HJCF to encourage planned giving.
