Congregation Emanu El is pleased to welcome Jonathan Safran Foer as our 2023 Endowment Speaker. Join us for a unique conversation on what it means to create camaraderie around the challenges we face today and how we, informed by Judaism, think through such topics. Jonathan will discuss his fiction and non-fiction works as well as share his own story through the lens of being Jewish.
Jonathan Safran Foer is known for his novels Everything Is Illuminated (2002), Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2005), Here I Am (2016), and for his non-fiction works Eating Animals (2009) and We Are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast (2019).
